Bridal party honors Blackstock

A bridal shower honoring Bridget Blackstock, bride-elect of Steven Roy Womack, was held Sunday afternoon, March 9, at the home of Linda Sober in Needville. Hostesses were Linda Sober, Gloria Wells, Pat Taylor and Vickie Padgett.

Tables were decorated in purple and white with bridal confetti and candles. The registry table was topped with a photograph of the bride and groom, the wedding book and a centerpiece of Texas bluebonnets arranged in a Blue Bell ice cream bucket.

Refreshments were a decorated farm-themed cake made by her grandmother Gloria Wells, cookies, punch, tea, finger sandwiches and shrimp and dip.

Special guests were Joyce Womack, mother of the prospective groom; Terri Sulak of Louise, sister; Michala Sulak of Louise, niece; Vickie Padgett, mother of the bride-to-be; Misty Kuykendall, sister; Savannah Kuykendall, cousin; and Gloria Wells of Alvin and Pat Taylor of Needville; grandmothers.

Hostesses presented the honoree with gift cards to Kohl's.
