Bridal shower honors Steelman

Stephanie Steelman, bride-elect of Keith Bodungen, was honored with a miscellaneous bridal shower 10 a.m., Saturday, March 8 at the First Presbyterian Church parlor.

Hostesses were Ginger Andreas, Dottie Collins, Lael Martin, Cindy McClure, Beverly Russell, Aubin Sumers, Pam Tannahill and Mary Beth Zaskoda.

Refreshments of cheese rolls, cake with glazed fruit, miniature pigs-in-the-blanket and nuts were served with pineapple ice cream punch and coffee.

A vase with pink tulips decorated the gift table and was presented to the bride.

Special guests were Brenda Steelman, mother of the bride-tobe; Kathy Bodungen, mother of the future groom; Carolyn Anders of Houston, grandmother of the bride-to-be; and Molli Bodungen, Sharon Shafer and Jeanette Hunter, aunts of the future groom.

The hostesses presented the bride a round bowl and oval platter of the Wilton armetale flutes and roses pattern.

The couple will be married at 4 p.m., Saturday, April 12 at First Presbyterian Church.
