'CLAYTON' JOINES
William 'Clayton' Joines

William and Delana Joines of Louise announce the birth of their first child, a son named William Clayton Joines. The baby was born at 2:41 a.m., March 5, 2008 at Gulf Coast Medical Center in Wharton, weighing 8 pounds, 1 ounce.

Maternal grandparents are Mitchel and Patsy Smith of Garwood. Paternal grandparents are Jimmy and Kathy Joines of Francitas.

Great-grandparents are W.R. and Albina Joines of Francitas, Rosemary Staudt of East Bernard, the late Edwin and Anna Ruth Schoeneberg, formerly of Louise; the late William Carl Smith, formerly of Garwood; the late Benno Staudt, formerly of East Bernard; and the late Geraldine and Harold Berglund, formerly of El Campo.

The mother is the former Delana Renee Smith.

Levi Schoeneberg

Levi Myles Schoeneberg, son of Budd and Rachel Schoeneberg of Hillje, was baptized at noon, Sunday, March 9, 2008 at St. Andrew's Catholic Church in Hillje. Father Clem Quainoo performed the sacrament of baptism. Levi's godparents are Chelsea Hubenak and Buck Schoeneberg.

Levi wore a white baptismal baby boy outfit worn 28 years ago by his mother's first cousin, Tadd Gann.

Levi's parents hosted a reception and lunch following the baptismal ceremony. A meal of grilled hot dogs, chips and dips was served. Decorated cupcakes and a special cake made by his grandmother Jeanne Hubenak and friend Bev Thaysen were served for dessert.

Special guests were his grandparents, Ricky and Jeanne Hubenak of El Campo and Belinda Schoeneberg and Chris and Rhonda Schoeneberg, all of Louise; and great-grandparents, Elizabeth Skrovan of Hillje, Verna Hubenak of El Campo, Arvid and Ruby Schoeneberg of Plainview, and Robert and Dorothy Billington of Louise. Many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends attended.

Levi received many special gifts from everyone who attended.

Kylie Irby

Brent and Natalie Irby of East Bernard announce the birth of their first child, a daughter named Kylie Elizabeth Irby. The baby was born at 3:47 a.m., Feb. 24, 2008 at Gulf Coast Medical Center in Wharton, weighing 6 pounds, 6 ounces.

Maternal grandparents are Benny and Lena Tupa of El Campo. Paternal grandparents are Randy and Linda Irby of Richmond.

Great-grandparents are Bettie Konvicka of El Campo and James and Mary Irby of Houston.

The mother is the former Natalie Tupa.
