Service men & women can log on & order cake for Mother's Day

With thousands of U.S. troops deployed overseas, Armed Forces Foundation and BakeMeAWish.com have created a unique opportunity for soldiers to log onto a secure Web site at www.bakemeawish. com and order a cake for their wives and mothers this Mother's Day.

The idea that soldiers can give their loved ones a gift of love is an unprecedented opportunity to send a message from the heart to mothers and wives who often do not hear from their spouse or child for months on end.

Administered by AFF, a national nonprofit benevolent foundation under the Department of Defense's America Supports You program, BakeMeAWish.com will deliver gourmet gift cakes to the wives and mothers of our nation's service men and women, each containing a personalized message.

The effort is dedicated to ensuring that military moms are reminded of just how valuable they are as their family members give their contributions to this country overseas.

Starting at $54.99, each gourmet cake ordered through BakeMeAWish.com for delivery in the U.S. will see 5 percent of sale contributed to the program. Delivery can take between 7 and 14 days to arrive depending on final destination.
