Josephine Zambrano

Josephine Garcia Zambrano, 85, of El Campo, died Friday, March 7, 2008.

She was born Sept. 19, 1921 in Yorktown to Sylvester and Juanita Martinez Garcia. She was a homemaker.

She is survived by her sons, Martin Zambrano of Winnie and George Zambrano of Sealy; brother, Sylvester Garcia, Jr. of El Campo; 11 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Gregorio Zambrano; four sisters and two brothers.

A rosary was recited Sunday, March 9 at 6 p.m. at Triska Funeral Home. The funeral Mass was held Monday, March 10 at 10 a.m. at St. Robert's Catholic Church. Interment followed at Glen Flora Cemetery under the direction of Triska Funeral Home.

Pallbearers were Guadalupe Garcia Jr., Joe Garcia, Richard Hogan, Brandon Hogan, Sean Hogan and Jonathan Vega.
