GETTING IT STRAIGHT

In March 8 edition of the Leader-News, a contributed photo of the Louise girls state powerlifting qualifiers was ran with an incomplete cutline.

In the picture, but left out of the cutline is freshman Jamie DeLeon. She was pictured on the back row, far right.

DeLeon was listed as a member of the team and had her personal best lifts listed in the story, but was not identified in the photo.

Also in need of correction is sophomore Gabby Fosters' best deadlift. It is listed at 245 pounds, but is actually 300 pounds, far more than double her 114-pound body weight.

The Leader-News apologizes for the two mistakes.

Louise's girls powerlifters competed in the state meet Friday at Killeen. As of presstime, information on the girls' meet was not available. Results will be announced in future editions of the El Campo Leader-News.
