Sara Laughlin given bridal shower at Triskas' house

Sara Laughlin, bride-elect of Adam Straznicky, was honored with a come-and-go miscellaneous morning shower at the home of Ceci Triska Saturday, March 15.

The home was decorated in spring colors with fresh flower arrangements. Sara, her mother, grandmother and future mother-in-law were presented with corsages upon their arrival.

The entry table held the guest book and couple's photo. A special plate designed by Jenny Petter to commemorate the shower and for guests to sign was displayed on a maroon and white table.

Refreshments of fresh fruit, baby pig-in-the-blankets, breakfast casserole, cheese rolls, coffee and raspberry tea were served from crystal serving pieces.

Special guests were Phyllis Laughlin, mother of the brideto be; Rose Trochta, grandmother of the bride-to-be; Belinda Straznicky, mother of the prospective groom; and Katie Mach, sister of the brideto be.

Hostesses were Carol Barbee, Lisa Bubela, Bonnie Collins, Cheryl Cornelson, Donna Shelton, Ceci Triska, Janice Trochta, Peggy Trochta, Cindy Witcher and Martha Ziegenhals. The hostesses presented Sara with her selected Bella red bed ensemble.

Sara and Adam will wed June 7, 2008 at First United Methodist Church in East Bernard.
