Steelman & Bodungen honored with miscellaneous party

Stephanie Steelman and Keith Bodungen were given a miscellaneous shower Saturday evening, March 15. It was hosted by Gordon and Marilynn Sorrel, Carl and Jeanette Hunter, Bruce and Debbie Lauritsen and Bob and Becky VonDerAu at the Sorrel's Barn in Wharton.

Guests enjoyed appetizers of cheese dip and chips, stuffed jalapeno peppers and boiled shrimp with cocktail sauce. Grilled steaks, baked potatoes, beans and salad were served for dinner.

Dessert choices were chocolate cake with chocolate covered strawberries and cherry pastry.

Special guests were John and Brenda Steelman, Stephanie's parents; Tom and Kathy Bodungen, Keith's parents; Sara Steelman, Stephanie's sister; and Clint and Ashley Bodungen, Keith's brother and sister-in-law.

Stephanie and Keith's wedding will take place at 4 p.m., April 12, 2008 at the First Presbyterian Church in El Campo.
