KC's Newest Members
The newest members of the Knights of Columbus Council No. 2490 were recognized recently. Hlavaty, State Membership Director Jim Collins, (standing) Tim Merta, Taylor Socha, Colton Pratka, John Orsak, Keith Cerny, Brent Irby and Clint Kacal. The council was honored with the presence of the State Deputy and State Membership Director at the installation. Council No. 2490 has a recruitment goal of 23 new members this fraternal year and so far have recruited 24 new members with 90 days left. Council No. 2490 was established in June of 1923 and will be celebrating its 85th anniversary this year with 487 active members. The council is the ninth largest in the state of Texas.
