Southside beer bandits sought by police

      A reward is being offered for information on the men who bashed open the door of an El Campo convenience store and fled with cigarettes and beer. Around 12:55 a.m. Tuesday, March 18, at least three men broke into the Han-DPak Drive-In store at 1110 Palacios.

EC man placed on probation after fleeing from police
      An El Campo man will spend three years on probation for running from police while a woman is prison bound after pleading guilty to theft charges. The two sentences were among those handed down in recent 329th District Court action in Wharton.
