Truck bashes into side of river bridge

      When chunks of concrete began ricocheting off the front of Rosemary Williams' sportutility vehicle Monday afternoon, she feared the worst. Just a few yards ahead, a truck hauling oilfield equipment had smashed into the side of the Colorado River bridge above Riverfront Park in Wharton.

      City Arrests Alcohol, drugs A 15-year-old Louise girl was arrested at 11:51 p.m. Saturday, March 22 on a charge of possession of 2 ounces or less of marijuana. She was a passenger in a car stopped for a traffic violation. She was released the next day to the custody of a relative.
