Western-themed party held for Sydnee Alford's fifth birthday

SYDNEE ALFORD
Sydnee Adison Alford celebrated her fifth birthday with a party Saturday afternoon at her home. The party was hosted by her parents, Robert and Stephanie Alford. Her actual birthday was March 24.

Western-themed party decorations included ponies, longhorns, cow skulls, cowboy boots and hats.

For fun, the birthday girl and her guests enjoyed miniature pony rides, petting and feeding a miniature pony and cow, all of which were gifts from her great-grandparents Maxine and Grady Allen.

Guests were served barbecued boneless pork ribs and hamburgers, buttered potatoes and baked beans. For dessert, cookies, brownies and a paint horse decorated birthday cake were served.

Special guests were her big brother Bradley Alford, Grady and Maxine Allen, great-grandparents; Randy and Sherry Hohensee, grandparents; Sherri Ziegenhals, grandmother; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, close friends and family members.

Sydnee received clothes, Barbie dolls, baby dolls, toy horses, gift cards, money and miscellaneous items.
