Junior Fair Board makes preparations for WCYF

On Monday, March 17 members of the Wharton County Junior Fair Board held their monthly meeting in the directors room of the fair grounds. The meeting was called to order at 7 p.m.

The minutes were read and all members present received Tshirts for the fair. Cow drop tickets were distributed and all money will need to be returned on Thursday, May 8.

Fair workdays and cleaning days are scheduled for April 5 and 19. Every junior fair board member was reminded to work at least one hour in the creative arts department during fair week. They were also reminded to stay after the next meeting in April and help set up the creative arts room for judging and check-in.

The entertainment for the fair was announced and The Emotions will perform on Thursday and Aces over 8 will open for Right Remedy on Friday.
