Lupe Aguilar

Lupe C. Aguilar, 61, of El Campo, died Monday, March 24, 2008.

She was born on Sept. 20, 1946 in Garwood.

Survivors include her husband, Joe A. Aguilar of El Campo; sons, Larry Aguilar of El Campo and Joe "Andy" Andrew Aguilar of El Campo; step-son Tony Deleon of Bay City; eight grandchildren; father, Marcos Castillo of Calif.; sisters, Dora Gussman of El Campo and Rosa Cordova of San Antonio; and brother, Steve Mancias of Angleton.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Trina Gutierrez Mancias; daughter, Linday Marie Aguilar; and brothers, Ricky and Gilbert Mancias.

Visitation will begin today, Wednesday, March 26 at noon at Triska Funeral home. A wake service will follow at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Funeral services will be Thursday, March 27 at 10 a.m. at First Baptist Church in El Campo with the Rev. Don Storey officiating. Burial will follow at Glen Flora Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Triska Funeral Home.
