Three new officers join ECPD force

      Three new officers have joined the force and are now patrolling the streets for the El Campo Police Department. Stephen Jimenez, Brian "B.J." Novak and Ryan Schaer all became officers and started their training this spring.

      City Arrests Property Mayra Soad Calderon, 35, of Victoria was arrested at 4:12 p.m. Wednesday, March 26 in Victoria County by a state trooper on two El Campo warrants for forgery of a financial instrument. She remained in custody at presstime.
