Mr. and Mrs. Tim Koenig of Paris, Texas announce the birth of their child, a son named Matthew John Koenig. The baby was born at 2:08 p.m., March 16, 2008 at the Paris Regional Medical Center in Paris, weighing 7 pounds, 14 ounces and measuring 21 inches long.

Matthew is welcomed home by sisters Jordan and Julianna Clipson of Paris and Emily and Hannah Koenig of Bay City.

Maternal grandparents are John and Jo Ann Winter of El Campo. Paternal grandparents are Nel and Glen Vlietstra of Montgomery and Tim Koenig Sr. and Carol of Goshen, Ky.

Great-grandfather is Albert Winter Sr. of El Campo.

The mother is the former Terri Winter.

Kenna Novak Kendal Novak

Kayla Wishert and John Novak of El Campo announce the birth of twin daughters, Kenna Jo Novak and Kendal Ire Novak, who were born March 24, 2008 at Gulf Coast Medical Center in Wharton.

Kenna Jo was born at 4:47 a.m., weighing 2 pounds, 13 ounces and measuring 15 inches long.

Kendal Ire was born at 4:48 a.m., weighing 2 pounds, 10 ounces and measuring 16 1/2 inches long.

Maternal grandparents are Chris and Sandy Wishert of Nada. Paternal grandparents are A.J. and Janet Novak of El Campo.

Great-grandparents are Joe and Irene Skuca of Nada, Oliver and Bernice Wishert and Polly and Isadore Zaruba of El Campo, Albert Novak of Vienna and Evelyn Novak of El Campo.

Serenity Salinas

Brian James Salinas and Crystal Esther Garza of El Campo announce the birth of their first child, a daughter named Serenity Jade Salinas. The baby was born at 11:27 p.m., Feb. 27, 2008 at DeTar Hospital in Victoria, weighing 6 pounds, 16 ounces.

She is welcomed home by a brother, Devin Christopher Romero.

Maternal grandparents are Alice and Juan Lopez of Hungerford and the late Juan Garza. Paternal grandmother is Ester Salinas of El Campo.

Patrick Sanchez

Patricia Garcia and Patrick Sanchez of El Campo announce the birth of their sixth child, a son named Patrick Nathan Sanchez. The baby was born at 1:09 p.m., March 23, 2008 at Gulf Coast Medical Center in Wharton, weighing 7 pounds, 1 ounce.

He is welcomed home by two brothers: Julian Ibara, age 5; and John Garcia, age 2; and three sisters: Cierra Ibara, age 6; Alan Sanchez, age 1; and Abigail Sanchez, age 10 months.

Maternal grandparents are Dora and John Garcia of El Campo. Paternal grandparents are Joyce Gonzalez and Miguel Sanchez of El Campo.

Great-grandparents are Maria Gonzales of El Campo and Apolonio and Juanita Garza of El Campo.
