Lupe Aguilar

Lupe C. Aguilar, 61, of El Campo, died Monday, March 24, 2008.

She was born Sept. 20, 1946 in Garwood.

Survivors include her husband, Joe A. Aguilar of El Campo; sons, Larry Aguilar and wife Casie of El Campo and Joe "Andy" Andrew Aguilar and wife Tabitha of El Campo; stepson, Tony Deleon and wife Melissa of Bay City; father, Marcos Castillo of California; sisters, Dora Gussman of El Campo and Rosa Cordova of San Antonio; a brother, Steve Mancias of Angleton; and eight grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Trina Gutierrez Mancias; daughter, Linday Marie Aguilar; and brothers, Ricky and Gilbert Mancias.

A wake service was held Wednesday, March 26 at 7 p.m. at Triska Funeral Home. Funeral services were held Thursday, March 27 at 10 a.m. at First Baptist Church of El Campo with the Rev. Don Storey officiating. Burial followed at Glen Flora Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Benji Compian, Jamie Compian, Paul Aguilar, Paul Cordova, Steve Mancios and Zac Gussman.
