COURT REPORTS An El Campo woman pleading guilty to endangering a child by making drugs available to them will spend the next three years on probation. Ana Patricia Escamilla, 22, of 803 Cotton pleaded guilty to one count of endangering before 329th District Court Judge Randy Clapp during March plea hearings. She will spend three years of deferred probation and pay $150 fine. With the deferred probation, the conviction won't be held against Escamilla if she is able to complete all terms. Others appearing before the judge to plead guilty include: • Rene Gabriel Gonzales, 24, of 510 Old Caney Road in Wharton for endangering a child. He was placed on two years deferred probation. With the deferred probation, the conviction won't be held against Gonzales if he is able to complete all terms. In a separate pleading, Gonzales pleaded guilty to assault of a public servant and was placed on two years probation, fined $300 and ordered to perform 180 hours community service. A second charge of assault of a public servant was set aside as part of the plea agreement. • Christopher Alexander Pacheco, 19, of 1414 Palacios in El Campo for burglary of a habitation. He was placed on four years deferred probation and ordered to pay $2,559.84 in restitution. • John Andrew Jackson, 25, of 240 CR 136 in Wharton for sexual assault of a child. He was placed on five years deferred probation on the condition he spend 120 days in county jail and ordered to perform 60 hours community service. Jackson received credit for the full time already served. • Kaycie Lanell Graham, 17, of 711 Grace in El Campo for debit card abuse. She was placed on 12 months deferred probation and ordered to pay $602 restitution. • La Warren Lee Shorter, 21, of 1014 E. Calhoun #1 in El Campo for theft. He was placed on four years deferred probation, fined $300 and ordered to pay $722.60 restitution. A charge of engaging in organized criminal activity was set aside as part of the plea arrangement. • Francisco Rodriguez, 30, of 510 S. Washington in El Campo for theft. He was placed on four years deferred probation and ordered to pay $722.60 restitution. A charge of engaging in organized criminal activity was set aside as part of the plea arrangement. • Angel Rodriguez, 30, of 510 S. Washington in El Campo for theft. He was placed on four years deferred probation, fined $300 and ordered to pay $722.60 restitution. A charge of engaging in organized criminal activity was set aside as part of the plea arrangement. • Javier Ramirez, 35, of 7179 CR 225 in East Bernard for theft by check. He was placed on five years deferred probation and ordered to pay $1,945.85 restitution. • Hector Garcia, 21, of 508 S. Mechanic in El Campo for theft. He was placed on four years deferred probation, fined $300 and ordered to pay $722.60 restitution. A charge of engaging in organized criminal activity was set aside as part of the plea arrangement. • Rene Cardenas, 21, of 609 Oscar in El Campo for theft. He was placed on four years deferred probation, fined $300 and ordered to pay $722.60 restitution. A charge of engaging in organized criminal activity was set aside as part of the plea arrangement. • Ezziet La Charles Bell, 44, of 1224 Sam in El Campo for engaging in organized criminal activity. He was placed on eight years probation, fined $200 and ordered to perform 180 hours community service. Bell also must pay $722.60 in restitution. A charge of theft was set aside as part of the plea arrangement. • John Langley Woodley, 31, address unavailable, for retaliation. He was placed on two years probation and fined $200. • Pierce Hunter Otto, 19, of 1823 Stadium Rd. #708 in Wharton for credit card abuse. He was placed on 12 months deferred probation and ordered to perform 24 hours community service. • Johnnie Joe Orta Jr., 19, of 7411 W. Bernard in Hungerford for burglary of a habitation. He was placed on two years deferred probation and ordered to pay $1,500 restitution. • Arthene Lynn Jackson, 24, of 1717 Briar Lane #1003 in Wharton for forgery. She was placed on two years probation and ordered to pay $500 restitution. • Howard O'Neal, 49, of 421 Teague in Boling for possession of a controlled substance. His probation was revoked and he was sentenced to two years in prison. • Jermaine Wright, 20, address unavailable, for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. His probation was revoked and he was sentenced to six months in state jail. • Raymond Ramirez III, 33, address unavailable, for evading arrest or detention. His probation was revoked and he was sentenced to six months state jail.
