Jerry Bezdek

Jerry Bezdek, 79, formerly of Louise, died Friday, April 4, 2008.

He was born Aug. 19, 1928 in Louise to Adolph and Ella Bezdek. Mr. Bezdek retired from Petro-Tex Chemical after 42 years. Her enlisted in the U.S. Air Force in 1948 and served four years, including during the Berlin Air Lift.

He was preceded in death by his wife Rosalie of 56 years.

Survivors include his sons, Chuck Bezdek and Marty Bezdek; daughters, Sandy Morgan and Tina Davis; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren; sister, Ruth Broughton; brother, Norbert (Pee Wee) Bezdek.

Visitation will be Sunday, April 6 from 4-7 p.m. at Pasadena Funeral Chapel with a rosary at 7 p.m. A celebration of Mr. Bezdek's life will be at St. Pius V Catholic Church on Monday, April 7 at 9 a.m. He will be buried at the St. Procopius Catholic Cemetery in Louise.
