Marie Hildebrand

Marie Agnes Erdelt Hildebrand, 92, of Fairfield, formerly of El Campo, died Sunday, April 6, 2008.

She was born Sept. 13, 1915 in Wharton County to John and Barbara Wendel Erdelt. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include her daughter, Gwen Russell of Cypress; son, Gene Hildebrand of Fairfield; sister, Lucille Wiesner of El Campo; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and two great-greatgranchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Alphonse Hildebrand; daughter, Carolyn Hildebrand; brother, Raymond Erdelt; and sister, Estelle Poncik.

Visitation will begin today, Wednesday, April 9 at 10 a.m. at St. John Catholic Church in Taiton. A parish rosary will be recited today at 10:30 a.m. at the church. The funeral Mass will follow at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Tony Boateng- Mensah officiating. Interment will follow at St. John Catholic Cemetery under the direction of Triska Funeral Home.
