City Arrests Property

Anselmo Guajardo Jr., 46, of 1425 Flora was arrested Monday, April 7 at 9:25 a.m. on a warrant for issuance of a bad check as well as five warrants for no insurance and one warrant for expired driver's license, no seat belt and expired registration while already in the Wharton County Jail. He was held as of presstime.

John Richard Hogan, 19, of 202 West Loop was arrested Monday, April 7 at 1:06 p.m. on a warrant for burglary of a building. He was transferred to the Wharton County Jail and held in lieu of a $5,000 bond as of presstime.

Jose Louis Sandoval-Rivas, 44, of 1983 FM 1163 was arrested Tuesday, April 8 at 10:35 p.m. on a Fort Bend County warrant for theft as well as charges of no driver's license and no insurance after being stopped for speeding. He was transferred to the Wharton County Jail the next morning and later released on $6,000 bond.

Wesley Declayton Wright, 22, of 527 W. Milam in Wharton was arrested Friday, April 11 at 7:32 a.m. on a warrant for assault causes bodily injury while already being held in the Wharton County Jail.

Eric Blake Rodriguez, 24, of CR 474 was arrested at 12:22 a.m. Sunday, April 6 on a DeWitt County warrant for theft between $20 and $200 and a charge of driving while license invalid or revoked after being stopped for a defective license plate lamp. He was released at 12:30 p.m. the same day on $2,800 bond.

Noel Brito, 28, of 310 University was arrested at 2:16 p.m. Tuesday, April 8 on the following warrants: failure to appear, four for no insurance, unrestrained child under two, no seat belt and expired registration. He was held as of presstime.

City Incidents Property

Cecil Morris reported vandals did $1,178 damage to his vehicle's tires, lenses and lights between midnight and 2 a.m. Monday, April 7 while it was parked at Rancho Village Apartments, 1610 S. Mechanic.

Martreece Johnson of Wharton reported theft of a $349 Sony flip phone between 10:15 and 10:45 a.m. Saturday, April 5 while at Jack in the Box, 1721 S. Mechanic.

Kimberly Guerrero reported theft of jewelry worth $1,200 between 6 a.m. Monday, March 31 and 7 a.m. Saturday, April 5 from 619 Betty.

Maria Solis reported a burglary at 610 Vasa between noon and 5 p.m. Wednesday, April 9. A $90 DVD player and assorted groceries were stolen.

County Incidents Property

Victor Dybala reported criminal mischief at 2254 CR 416 between March 8 and March 9. An estimated $350 tractor window was broken and $6,500 damage done to the walls of a trailer house at that location. An unspecified amount of damage was also done to the tin siding of a barn.

Ted Schoenfield reported a theft on March 27 at 913 CR 474. A rat terrier valued at $1,000 was taken.

Valeri Bradford reported a burglary at 1205 Hackberry in Louise between 8 p.m. Saturday, April 5 and 10:10 a.m. Sunday, April 6. A pry bar was used to open a back door and a light bulb was missing.

County Jail Bookings Property

Cody Neuendorff, 20, of 1415 E. Jackson was booked Friday, April 4 on a warrant for theft by check. He was released at 12:35 p.m. the same day on $1,600 bond.

Other

Melvin McMillon, 25, of 1218 Sam was booked at 2:35 p.m. Wednesday, April 2 for probation violation. He was held on $50,000 bond as of 4 p.m. the next day.

Robert Volek, 31, of 1418 Olivia was booked Thursday, April 3 for parole violation. He was held without bond as of 4 p.m. the same day.
