Survivors include his parents, Cliff and Louise Grissom, formerly of El Campo; his wife, Carol Grissom; his daughter, Jennifer K. Grissom of Houston; son, Gerald Grissom, Jr. and daughter-in-law, Kelly; and three grandchildren, Cody, Bailey, and Avery Grissom, all of Katy. Other survivors include his sisters, Rebecca Hermansen of El Campo, and Catherine Goodman and husband Barry of Houston; step-daughters, Lynn Spender and husband Bill of Mooresville, N.C. and Laurie Cadena of Houston; numerous nieces and nephews, and other extended family.
