Big Hugs
Clifford, The Big Red Dog, gets his nose scratched by Allison Evans, 3, while her sister Grace, 4, gives him a hug. Clifford was a guest of the Wharton County Branch Library in El Campo Saturday morning during a library book fair. The girls are daughters of Shanna and Barrett Evans. The Library is having their buy one-get one free book sale and Clifford came by to help promote the book sale and greet all the children. Approximately 250 adults and children visited the Library. The book fair will end on Saturday, April 19 at 1 p.m. Library hours are Monday 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Tuesday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturday 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
