Vernon Allen

Vernon Allen, 46, of Wharton, died Saturday, April 12, 2008.

He was born Dec. 4. 1961 in El Campo to L.C. Temple and Jean Allen Stephens. Mr. Allen was a security guard at PGP Securities.

Survivors include his parents; sisters, Denise Stephens of Brazoria and Tina Temple of Houston; four brothers, Dennis Stephens Jr. of Brazoria, David Stephens of Wharton, Henry Stephens of Arizona, Texas and L.C. Temple Jr. of Houston.

Funeral service will be today, Saturday, April 19 at 1 p.m. at Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church in Iago. Interment will follow at Mt. Pilgrim Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Matthews Funeral Home in Wharton.
