Gerald Grissom Sr.

Gerald Wayne Grissom Sr., 64, born Feb. 3, 1944, formerly of Palacios and El Campo, died Saturday, April 12, 2008 at the Michael Debakey V.A. Hospital in Houston.

Survivors include his parents, Cliff and Louise Grissom, formerly of El Campo; wife, Carol Grissom; daughter, Jennifer K. Grissom of Houston; son, Gerald Grissom Jr. and daughter-in-law Kelly; and three grandchildren, Cody, Bailey and Avery Grissom, all of Katy.

Other survivors include his sisters, Rebecca Hermansen of El Campo and Catherine Goodman and husband Barry of Houston; step-daughters, Lynn Spencer and husband Bill of Mooresville, N.C. and Laurie Cadena of Houston; numerous nieces and nephews, and other extended family.

A Christian Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, April 19 at 11 a.m. at the Rosewood Funeral Home Chapel in Pasadena, TX, Beltway 8 and Pasadena Blvd. 713-920-2171.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to the Grissom Grandchildren College Fund at any Wells Fargo Bank or to the charity of your choice.
