District goes to Foster in defensive battle

      A packed crowd filled the stands for one of the most anticipated softball games of the year at El Campo Friday. Fans of the Lady 'Birds and Foster Lady Falcons crammed into the bleachers to see two of the state's best teams face off.

Alumni game set for LHS

      Friday is set for one big party at Louise. And it's all about baseball. Louise is preparing for its second annual Alumni Baseball Game. Scheduled for a 7 p.m. start, the event will be filled with several ways for fans to get involved. The festivities may even begin a little earlier.

Clutch hitting powers Hornets for victory

      Louise's baseball team had never lost to Moulton and Friday's game kept it that way. The Hornets rallied in the sixth inning for a 15-8 win in front of a home-town crowd. Though Louise traditionally dominates the Bobkatz on the baseball field, a win over Moulton is always nice for the Hornets.
