Frank Kramr, Wharton County Soil & Water Conservation board chairman (left) and Harold Graf, SWCD board vice chairman met with Wharton County Judge John Murrile (right) and commissioners court April 14 to sign a proclamation declaring April 27-May 4 as Soil and Water Stewardship Week. The theme of the week is "Water is Life," and people are encouraged to become aware of water quality and quantity in the community.
