City Arrests Alcohol, drugs

A 13-year-old El Campo boy was arrested at 12:20 p.m. Monday, April 14 on a charge of possession of 2 ounces or less of marijuana while at El Campo Middle School, 4010 FM 2765. The boy was released to the custody of a relative the same day.

A 14-year-old El Campo boy was arrested at 2:30 p.m. Monday, April 14 on a charge of possession of 2 ounces or less of marijuana in a drug-free zone while at El Campo Middle School, 4010 FM 2765. The boy was released to the custody of a relative the same day.

A 14-year-old El Campo boy was arrested at 3:21 p.m. Thursday, April 17 on a charge of possession of marijuana while at El Campo High School, 600 W. Norris. The boy was released to the custody of a relative the same day.

Property

Ashley Lynn Rooker, 18, of 2201-C Bunton Dr. was arrested at 12:44 p.m. Tuesday, April 15 on a charge of theft under $50 while at El Campo High School, 600 W. Norris. She was issued a citation and released.

Violence, weapons

Frank Ray Rhodehamel, 32, of 2201 Bunton Dr. was arrested at 9:50 p.m. Thursday, April 17 on two charges of assaulting a public servant and a charge of assault by threat. He was transferred to county jail the next day.

Bruce Ceasar, 48, of 1221 Alice Ave. was arrested at 11:13 a.m. Monday, April 14 on a Harris County warrant for nonpayment of child support. He was transferred to Wharton County Jail and held on $7,500 bond as of 12:30 p.m. April 17.

Ruby Estrada Montalvo, 30, of 615 W. Caney in Wharton was arrested at 3:29 p.m. Monday, April 14 on warrants for failure to appear and speeding. He was released the same day on $668.86 bond.

Brandon Allen Hogan, 21, of 1508 Bravo was arrested at 5:15 a.m. Tuesday, April 15 on two warrants for failure to appear, warrants for unsafe speed, failure to report an accident and minor driving under the influence of alcohol and charges of resisting arrest, search or transport, expired driver's license and no seat belt. He was released at 3:10 p.m. the next day on $5,500 bond.

Fabian Salinas, 30, of 2416 Benchmark Dr. was arrested at 2:03 p.m. Tuesday, April 15 on warrants for failure to appear, theft and no insurance. He was released at 4:10 p.m. the next day on $2,000 bond.

Theresa Martinez Beltran, 50, of CR 313 in El Campo was arrested at 12:21 p.m. Wednesday, April 16 on warrants for failure to appear and backing unsafely. She was released the same day after paying $668.86 in fines.

Kayland Evette Lathon, 39, of 7703 N. U.S. 59 in Hungerford was arrested at 10:43 a.m. Thursday, April 17 on warrants for failure to appear and running a red light and a charge of no insurance. She was released the same day on $1,038.11 bond.

Aaron David Eisler, 30, of Rt. 1, Box 88D in El Campo was arrested at 12:10 p.m. Thursday, April 17 on a charge of failure to identify - enhanced and a Wharton County warrant for probation violation. He was transferred to county jail the next day.

City Incidents Property

A 15-year-old El Campo girl reported theft of a $300 iPod Nano between 1:42 and 2:29 p.m. Friday, April 11 while at El Campo High School, 600 W. Norris.

Terry Barber of Inez reported burglars took $240 in lineman's tools from a vehicle parked at Mid Coast Cable Television, 505 N. Mechanic, between 10 a.m. and 11:59 p.m. Monday, April 14.

Esther Castellanos reported criminal mischief between 4:50 and 5:10 p.m. Tuesday, April 15, causing $300 damage to a vehicle's hood while it was parked at 1403 Alvin Ave.

El Campo High School, 600 W. Norris, reported criminal mischief causing $200 damage to a window between 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 16 and 7:30 a.m. Thursday, April 17.

William Morris reported criminal mischief causing $300 damage to a vehicle at 613 Ave. K between 8 a.m. and 6:05 p.m. Thursday, April 17.

Johnny Camacho Jr. reported criminal mischief causing $200 damage to a truck at 611 Ave. K between 8 a.m. and 6:05 p.m. Thursday, April 17.

Graddie Whitted of Alabama reported burglary of a vehicle at 315 Gibson between June 1, 2007 and April 4, 2008. Burglars stole a $100 stereo and broke a $150 window.

Jail population as of 12:30 p.m. April 17 was 111 prisoners.
