Herzik given surprise 79th birthday party

Henrietta Herzik was surprised on her 79th birthday with a party Saturday afternoon, April 5, at the home of Jr. and Karen Herzik of El Campo. Her actual birthday was April 4.

The party was attended by all her children and their spouses, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Her children include Sharon Malek and husband John of Angleton, Carol Pohlmann and husband James of Needville, Marilyn Kocurek and husband Joe of Rosenberg, Jr. Herzik and wife Karen of El Campo, David Herzik and wife Cindy of Bay City and Michael Herzik of El Campo.

A meal of King Ranch Chicken, crawfish, green beans and garlic bread was served with watermelon, and Italian cream birthday cake

Herzik, who resides in El Campo, received many useful gifts.
