Kara Fox expecting twin boys

In anticipation of the arrival of twin boys on June 12, Kara Fox was honored with a "Double Blessing" baby shower from 2-4 p.m. Sunday, April 20 at Faith Lutheran Church fellowship hall. The father-to-be is Lucas Fox.

Hostesses were Susan Berndt, Nancy Lilie, Robin Lilie, Teresa Lilie, Melissa Lilie, Patsy Mauch, Carol Rheinschmidt, Evelyn Robinson and Romona Stepan.

Party decorations featured baby farm animals to carry out the theme. The registration table held two baby teddy bear banks with the boys' names: "Cody and Wyatt," the guest register book tied with blue ribbon, baby washcloths tied with blue ribbon and floral arrangements of Boston ferns and bluebonnets.

The guest of honor table was decorated with a fern and bluebonnets with plush stuffed baby farm animals. The gift table had two stuffed animals, blue receiving blankets tied with ribbon and a basket for gift cards. A floral arrangement of yellow and white daisies flanked by plush blue baby sheep decorated the refreshment table.

Approximately 30 guests enjoyed refreshments of cake, fruit tray, vegetable tray, chocolate covered almonds, tea, coffee and party mints.

Special guests were Betty Sanders of Louise, maternal grandmother-to-be; Gail Mudd of Caldwell, Gail's aunt; Marsha Mudd of College Station and Jenny and Christen Klicker of Bay City, cousins.

Hostesses presented Kara with a playpen for the twins and all the decorations used throughout the hall.
