Bridal shower honors McClure

Lauren McClure, bride-elect of Charles Fontanier, was honored with a bridal shower from 2-4 p.m., Saturday, April 19 at the Wharton County Electric Coop's Thomas Edison Room.

Hostesses were Lori Atkinson, Cynthia Coody, Melissa Helfer, Stephanie Hudgeons, Renee McClure, Becky Mitchell, RoseAnn Mitchell, Christine Stransky, Doris Winter and Gerri Winter.

Peach and chocolate brown ribbons and flowers accented with candles and mirrors decorated the tables. Refreshments consisted of cake, punch, cheese rolls, vegetable tray and mints.

Special guests were Wanda Fontanier of Spring, mother of the prospective groom; Cindy McClure, mother of the bride-to-be; and Eleanor Jones of Victoria, grandmother of the bride-to-be.

Hostesses presented the honoree with a comforter, sheet set and 16-piece Corningware set.

Lauren and Charles's wedding is set for June 21, 2008.
