Breakfast honors Sunshine Ladies

Sunshine Ladies of El Campo Memorial Hospital were honored with a volunteer appreciation breakfast Tuesday, April 15, at Firehouse Grill beginning at 8:30 a.m. The event was hosted by ECMH and Mid Coast Medical Clinic.

Twenty-two guests attended the breakfast. Butterfly pins were presented to all members and door prizes of pinwheels were distributed.

The Sunshine Ladies raise funds year-round to support the hospital with needed equipment, furnishings and decorations.

"The hospital wanted to take this time to acknowledge the volunteer work that all the ladies do for the betterment of El Campo Memorial Hospital," Managed Care and Marketing Director Donna Mikeska said.
