Kemberling honored at party

Meryl Kemberling, brideelect of Justin Elder, was given a bridal shower Friday, April 18 at the home of Robyn Hernandez of Rosenberg. Assisting Hernandez as hostesses were Addie Hernandez and Savannah Kemberling.

The table was covered with pink tulle and a decorated cake to match the invitations to the party. Fresh flowers and balloons also decorated the home.

Assorted fruits, vegetables and casseroles were served.

Special guests were Julie Elder, mother of the future groom; Cathy Kemberling, mother of the bride-to-be; Iva Nell Elder, grandmother of the future groom; and Caitlin Elder, sister of the future groom.

Hostesses presented the honoree with a selection of her china and silverware.

Meryl and Justin will be married May 24, 2008.
