Litefooter auditions for fairy tale play begins this weekend

This year's Litefooter Summer Youth Program begins this weekend with registration and auditions on Sunday, May 4, and Tuesday, May 6, at 6:30 p.m. at the Plaza Theatre on the Square in Wharton.

Director Roshunda Jones will audition youngsters ages six through 16 for roles in a musical version of Grimm's fairy tale Enchanted Sleeping Beauty as retold by Vera Morris, with music and lyrics by Bill Francoeur.

The production will be staged June 26 - 29. A $25 registration fee is due at sign-up.
