City Arrests Alcohol, drugs

Clifton Mancias Sr., 50, of 507 Mayfield Ave. was arrested at 9:14 p.m. Saturday, May 3 on a charge of driving while intoxicated and cited for open alcohol container in a motor vehicle. He was transferred to Wharton County Jail the next day and released at 4:45 p.m. Monday, May 5 on $2,500 bond.

Property

Kimberly Lynn Earley, 35, of Ganado was arrested at 9:17 p.m. Sunday, May 4 on a Kaufman County warrant for theft by check after being stopped for speeding. She was released at 10:30 a.m. Monday, May 5 on $2,000 bond.

Other

Christopher Lee Hagan, 23, of 423 Sanford Road in Wharton was arrested at 2:31 p.m. Friday, May 2 on warrants for failure to appear, speeding and running a stop sign and charges of driving while license invalid or revoked and speeding. He remained in custody at presstime.

Juan Moreno, 17, of 13482 FM 441 in Danevang was arrested at 8:50 a.m. Monday, May 5 on a charge of criminal trespass while at El Campo High School. Moreno allegedly was told he was suspended, but refused to leave campus. He was released the same day after paying a $266.75 fine.

Maribel Martinez Nuncio, 31, of 3527 FM 1160 was arrested at 3:55 p.m. Monday, May 5 on two warrants for failure to appear, warrants for no insurance and expired registration and a charge of no insurance. She was released the same day on $2,003 bond.

Shonna Lynn Wittman, 29, of 220 Palomar was booked Friday, May 2 for unlawful use of a motor vehicle and forgery of a financial instrument. She was held on $20,000 bond as of 1 p.m. Monday, May 5.

David Ruiz Leon, 51, of 1423 Flora was booked Friday, May 2 for assault-family violence. He was released at 11:10 a.m. Saturday, May 3 on $2,500 bond.

Mario Evett Garcia, 25, of 620 Doris was booked Saturday, May 3 for assault-family violence and capias pro fines. He was held on $2,500 bond as of 1 p.m. Monday, May 5.

Justin W. Lipinski, 20, of 1208 Alvin Ave. was booked Thursday, May 1 for probation violation. He was released at 4:05 p.m. Friday, May 2 on $15,000 bond.

Serapio Vasquez, 18, of 855 CR 404 in El Campo was booked Sunday, May 4 for evading arrest and disorderly conduct. He was released at 11 a.m. the same day on $3,000 bond.
