Casey Bubela honored with lingerie & bachelorette party

Casey Bubela, bride-elect of Matt Wied was honored with a lingerie shower and bachelorette party on Saturday evening, May 3 at the home of Pam Laitkep. Hostesses were Laitkep, Casey's mom; Christy Bubela, her sister; Megan Zamazal, her sister-inlaw; Becky Hensley, her cousin, and Trudy Bubela, her aunt.

Guests registered at a table covered with a pink cloth which held an arrangement of pink and white carnations, snapdragons and star-gazer lilies, Casey's bride book, a picture of the couple, and an autograph bridal puppy on which the guests wrote their best wishes to the couple.

A buffet of chicken salad sandwiches, meat and cheese, vegetables and dips was served. Dessert included a cake decorated for the theme of the party, white chocolate candies and lime sherbet punch.

After Casey opened her many beautiful gifts, guests spent the evening playing games and visiting.

Special guests were Pam Laitkep and Carol Wied, Matt's mom.

Matt and Casey will wed on Saturday, June 7, 2008 in Clear Lake City.
