Carpeting The Field A Hellas Construction Co. employee sprays glue on a nylon fabric on the east side of the El Campo football field Thursday. Once the glue is down crews would lay the artificial grass on it to seal the seams. This method was used to seal the seams of all lengths of the artificial turf. Due to good weather, work on the new field and track are going well. Note that the end zones are a bright Ricebird red.
