James Saucedo earns doctor of medicine degree from Baylor College of Medicine

James Matthew Saucedo of Rosenberg received his doctorate of medicine May 20 when he graduated from Baylor College of Medicine.

Saucedo was salutatorian of the 1999 class of B.F. Terry High School. He earned his bachelor's degree from Baylor University and his master's of business administration from Rice University.

In earning his doctorate, he was also named an outstanding student in orthopedic surgery.

He and his wife Tiffany are relocating to Chicago, Ill,. where he will continue work in orthopedic surgery at McGaw Medical Center of Northwestern University Affiliated Hospitals.

Saucedo is the son of John and Connie Saucedo. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Saucedo of El Campo and the late Mr. and Mrs. Lupe Garza of Rosenberg.

Honors during medical school included being named outstanding in orthopedic research.

Guest speakers at a graduation party for Saucedo included his pediatrician, Dr. Richard Cannon, as well as high school teachers George Arroyos and Michael Ramsey.
