Railroad starts bridge work in El Campo with permits

The railroad's return to Wharton County got a step closer as construction permits were filed in the city of El Campo's Inspections Department. City inspectors issued six permits Thursday for $523,000 in bridge work related to Kansas City Southern Railway's reconstruction project. More...
