Smiths given hunting-themed baby shower

Tony and Tammy Smith of Wharton were honored with a hunting-themed couple's baby shower at 6:30 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 23 at the home of Ronnie Wittig in Wharton.

Hosts were James and Tammy Morris, Stephen and Michelle Wasicek, Ronnie Wittig and Leah Frankum.

The shower theme consisted of camouflage and hunting décor.

Guests were served beef and chicken fajitas, beans, and chips and dips. A cake with "Welcome Baby Boy Smith" decorated with a baby in a camo diaper was also served.

Special guests were Kathy and John Tumlinson, Tammy's parents; Lee and Gerri Kirchner, grandparents of Tammy; Shauna Johse, daughter of Tony; and Matt Tumlinson, Tammy's brother; as well as many of Tony and Tammy's hunting buddies and friends.

The hosts presented the couple with a baby bathtub and bath accessories, several outfits, bibs, a pair of baby camo crocks and an H-E-B gift card.

Tammy was also given a dinner baby shower by her coworkers at First Ag Credit on July 19.

The shower was held at the home of Wendy Rozsypal in the Greatwood Subdivision in Sugar Land.

Hostesses presented Tammy with a gift card to Babies R Us and several baby items.
