The grandmothers and great-grandmother were also given corsages with their titles monogrammed on them. Approximately 15 guests played games such as "What's in the Bag?" and "What Are You Feeding Your Baby?" The expected baby received many gifts, such as a play bench and stool for her room, handmade quilts and baby clothes and many other things for her wardrobe and bath. Special guests included the baby's maternal grandmother, Donna Merta and great-grandmother, Ella Mae Merta of El Campo; paternal grandmother, Nancy Porter of Sugar Land and aunt Tanya Jones of Houston. Also present was the baby's greatgreat aunt Lydia Schoellmann of El Campo. Guests attended from El Campo, Richmond, Sugar Land, Bay City, Houston and Katy.
