Larry McClure

Larry James McClure, 70, of El Campo, died Sunday, Oct. 5, 2008.

He was born May 17, 1938 in El Campo to Johnnie and Tillie Cervenka McClure.

Survivors include his mother, Tillie McClure of El Campo; son, Gary McClure of Houston; daughter, Kathy Wortham of Spring; granddaughter, Jenah Dara Jones of Japan; brothers, Alton C. McClure of Huntington, Ark., John E. McClure of Kemah, Glynn D. McClure of Clear Lake; sisters, Betty Calaway Gardner of Ganado and Patricia R. Miller of Wharton.

He was preceded in death by his father, Johnnie McClure; and sister, Elaine McClure.

Funeral services will be today Wednesday, Oct. 8 at 9 a.m. at Wheeler Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Swedish Lutheran Cemetery.
