EC Book Club Meeting The El Campo Book Club meets Thursday, Nov. 6 at 5 p.m. at the El Campo Library. This month discussion is The Story of Edgar Sawtelle by David Wroblewski. Edgar, a third generation dog breeder and trainer, was born mute. The Sawtelle dogs are bred to diminish undesirable traits. However, this does not apply to humans. Citizen of the Year Nominations Sought The annual El Campo Chamber of Commerce awards banquet is three months away, but now is the time for the community to start submitting nominations for Citizen of the Year.
