Dorothy Hill

Dorothy Ramsey Cude Hill, 84, of Charlotte, N.C. died Friday, Oct. 31, 2008.

She was born March 17, 1924 in Mecklenburg, Colo. to A.P. Ramsey and Estelle "Skipper" Ramsey.

Survivors include her sons, Steve Cude of Concord, N.C., the Rev. Thomas Edwin Cude of El Campo, William Hensley Cude of El Campo and Michael Robert Hill of Dayton; sisters, Margaret Lawine, Jean Stewart and Ann Bowers all of Charlotte, N.C.; brothers, Carl Ramsey of Charlotte, N.C.; 14 grandchildren; and 29 greatgrandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Robert Hill.

Graveside service were held Tuesday, Nov. 4 at 11 a.m. at Palacios Cemetery in Palacios. Arrangements were under the direction of Matthews Funeral Home, Wharton.
