Bridal luncheon & shower honors Leslie Hernandez

Leslie Hernandez, future bride of Dustin Martinez, was given a luncheon bridal shower at noon, Saturday, Nov. 15. The party was held at the El Campo Civic Center's Duson Room.

The couple will be married on Feb. 14, 2009.

Hostesses were Jackie Ocanas, Rachel Delgado, Eva Hernandez, Laura Ocanas Escamilla, Michelle Delgado, Yolanda Snyder, Marcela Hernandez, Hellen Ocanas, Esther Ansink, Maria Delgado, Sylvia Haro, Patsy Coblentz, Cristina Hernandez, Linda Hernandez, Sylvia Martinez, Tori Hernandez, Sandy Castanon, Ramona Martinez, Michele Hernandez, Florinda Esperiqueta, Julie Delgado and Natalia Vallejo.

Tables were decorated with black and white linens and each had a fresh floral arrangement.

The luncheon menu consisted of beef enchilada casserole, chicken enchilada casserole, Mexican rice, beans, tortilla chips, queso and salsa and peach tea. A yellow cake with chocolate icing decorated with chocolate roses was served with scones and punch.

Special guests were Rebecca Lisa Hernandez, step-mother of the bride-to-be; Irene Montiel, mother of the bride-tobe; Lorena Martinez , mother of the future groom; Marcela Hernandez and Tina Ortiz, grandmothers of the bride-tobe; Ramona Martinez, grandmother of the future groom; Maria Delgado and Helen Montiel, step-grandmothers of the bride-to-be; and Lupe Ocanas Garcia and Juanita Delgado, step-great-grandmothers of the bride-to-be.

Leslie received a seven-piece his and hers luggage set from her hostesses.
