Heather Diskin & Len Garza exchange wedding vows

Heather Laura Diskin and Len Matthew Garza were united in marriage at 3 p.m., Nov. 15, 2008 at the Queen of Miraculous Medal Catholic Church in Princeton, N.J. Father Thomas Krafinski, CM, performed the double ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Patrick Diskin of Cranbury, N.J. Parents of the groom are Mr. and Mrs. Leonel M. Garza of El Campo.
Given in marriage by her parents, the bride, escorted by her father, walked down the aisle to Bob Dylan's song, "To Make You Feel My Love," sung by the artist Adele. The recessional was "Joy," by George Winston.
The bride wore an elegant couture ivory silk satin gown designed by Lazaro. The fitted strapless bodice was embellished with crystal seed beads and the skirt was a full A-line design. Heather wore her sister Kimberly O'Donnel's wedding veil which was of cathedrallength with hand rolled silk edging. Her petite clutch bouquet was comprised of monochromatic tones of freesia, hydrangea, stephanotis and ecru and white roses. It was accented by a miniature flower from her mother's bridal bouquet and a segment of tulle from the wedding veil worn by the groom's mother.
Matron of honor was her sister, Kimberly O'Donnel of Princeton, N.J. Bridesmaids were Heather Ludington and Amy McCarthy of Hoboken, N.J., Meredith Weber of Brunswick, Ga. and Amanda Thiede and Nicole Yang of Hoboken, all childhood friends of the bride.
Attendants wore pewter colored chiffon strapless gowns with an empire waist. Their bouquets were arranged with vibrant autumn flowers in hues of gold, yellow and orange accented by tones of pewter foliage.
Serving as best man was the brother of the groom, Lee Mark Garza of New York City, N.Y. Groomsmen were Timothy Dowden of Dallas and Thomas Dowden of McKinney, childhood friends of the groom; and Chris Cradduck and Shawn McCarthy of Dallas, college friends of the groom.
Lee Garza and Kimberly O'Donnel served as witnesses. Scriptural readings were given by Kevin Diskin and Paul Diskin, brothers of the bride, who read from the Old and New Testaments, respectively. The "Prayer of the Faithful" was read by Karen Garza, sister in-law of the groom.
The reception followed at The Prince William Ballroom of the historic Nassau Inn in Princeton. Dining and dancing music was provided by The Franklin-Allison Orchestra.
Rehearsal dinner, hosted by the groom's parents, was held at The Cranbury Inn in Cranbury.
The bride received her degree in fashion design from Philadelphia College of Textiles and Science in Philadelphia, Pa.
The groom graduated from Texas A&M University in College Station with a bachelor's degree in business administration. He received his doctorate of jurisprudence degree from Seton Hall University School of Law in Newark, N.J. He is an attorney for the law firm of Ruprecht, Hart & Weeks in Millburn, N.J.
