Melina Hernandez

Melina Isabella Hernandez, newborn infant, of Garwood, died Monday, Dec. 29, 2008 in Sugar Land.

She was born to David and Melissa Guadiana Hernandez of Garwood.

Survivors include her parents; maternal grandmother, Sylvia Aguilar of Houston; maternal grandfather, Juan Jose Guadiana of Pearland; paternal grandparents, Ramiro and Feliz Hernandez of Garwood.

Graveside services were held Monday, Jan. 5 at 1 p.m. at Garden of Memories in El Campo. Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Wheeler Funeral Home.

Trinidad Moreno

Trinidad Moreno, 87, of El Campo, died Saturday, Jan. 3, 2009 in El Campo.

He was born May 27, 1921 in Goliad to Hilario and Manuela Hildago.

Survivors include his daughter, Susan Sosa of El Campo; sons, Daniel Moreno of Louise and David Moreno of El Campo; six grandchildren; seven greatgrandchildren; brothers, Joe Moreno of Colorado and Raymond Moreno of Colorado; sisters, Trina Valdez of San Antonio and Maria Silva of Corpus Christi.

Memorial services were held Tuesday, Jan. 6 at 1 p.m. at Wheeler Funeral Home with military honors to follow.
