Xavier “BJ” Gonzalez, 35, of 719 Alice was arrested at 11:07 p.m. Friday, May 31 for driving while intoxicated second offense and driving while license invalid after being stopped in the 500 block of North Mechanic. Processed, he was transferred to the Wharton County Jail the next day.

Marcus Juarez, 29, of 525 W. Monseratte was arrested at 6:32 p.m. Saturday, June 1 for possession of drug paraphernalia, public intoxication and failure to appear after being stopped in the 100 block of West Jackson. Processed, he was transferred to county jail the next day.

Ubaldo Del Agua Olvera, 23, of 1317 Sam was arrested at 10:05 p.m. Saturday, June 1 for driving while intoxicated, resisting arrest, no driver’s license and turned right too wide after being involved in a minor crash in the 800 block of East Jackson. Processed, he was transferred to county jail the next day.

Kristopher Scott Utz, 29, of 813 Ellen was arrested at 1:26 a.m. Sunday, June 2 for driving while intoxicated after being stopped in the 200 block of South Mechanic. Processed, he was transferred to county jail later that day.

Benjamin Lamon Baylor, 20, of 1185 Olivia was arrested at 1:59 a.m. Sunday, June 2 for driving while intoxicated after being stopped in the 800 block of South Wharton. Processed, he was transferred to county jail later that morning.

Jamie Alexander Servellon, 40, of 1511 Rebe Sue was arrested at 2:22 a.m. Monday, June 3 for driving while intoxicated after being stopped in the 100 block of South Mechanic. Processed, he was transferred to county jail later that day.

Joel Alejandro Garcia, 29, of 2603 Benchmark was arrested at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 4 for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia after being stopped in the 900 block of Avenue C. Police seized marijuana and a grinder. Processed, he was transferred to county jail the next day. Once there, he posted $2,000 in bonds and was released the same day.

Garrett Nicholas Ammann, 25, of 205 Gary Circle was arrested at 10:05 a.m. Friday, May 31 on a warrant for forgery. Processed, he was transferred to county jail.

Shelby Tana Ramirez, 27, of 1509 Lilly was arrested at 7:40 p.m. Saturday, June 1 on a warrant for theft. Processed, she was transferred to county jail.

Nicholas Cadena, 19, of 610 Lundy was arrested at 12:05 p.m. Sunday, June 2 on a warrant for burglary of a habitation. Processed, he was transferred to county jail.

Violence, weapons

Bernardo Cruz Rodriguez Jr., 40, of 708 McGrew was booked at 10:34 a.m. Friday, May 31 directly at the county jail on warrants for four counts of indecency with a child by sexual contact, a single count of aggravated sexual assault of a child and two counts of continuous sexual abuse of a child – victim under the age of 14. The crimes allegedly took place in 2016.

A teenager was arrested during a disturbance on Serena Drive around 4 a.m. Saturday, June 1. The child faces an assault charge causing injury.

Martin Aguilar, 48, of 502 E. West was arrested at 3:45 p.m. Tuesday, June 4 for violating a bond of protective order two or more times within a year as well as a warrant for violating a bond or protective order. Processed, he was transferred to county jail the next day.

Evier A. Moncada Canelas, 22, of 605 Shropshire was arrested at 4:25 p.m. Tuesday, June 4 for terroristic threat of a family or household after a disturbance at his home. Police seized two pistols during the investigation. Processed, he was transferred to county jail. Once there, he posted a $5,000 bond and was released the same day.

Police are investigating a report of identity theft at Quick N Easy (Valero), 1415 E. Jackson, between May 23 and 25. Loss nears $400.

A person reported being harassed on the grounds of Walgreens, 203 N. Mechanic, between May 3 and 31.

County Jail Bookings

Jonathan Nicholas Flores, 22, of 2444 Old Columbus Road in Sealy was arrested by state troopers at 2:36 p.m. Monday, June 3 for three counts of possession of a controlled substance, possession of a dangerous drug, unlawful carrying of a weapon and possession of marijuana.

Homero Garza, 62, of 1613 Walnut in McAllen was arrested by state troopers at 3:38 p.m. Monday, June 3 for money laundering in excess of $300,000.

James Michael Taylor, 25, of 421 Washington in Wharton was arrested by sheriff’s deputies at 12:07 a.m. Tuesday, June 4 for driving while intoxicated. Processed, he posted a $1,500 bond and was released the next day.

Carlos Alvarado, 24, of 2111 West was arrested by Wharton police at 1:51 p.m. Tuesday, June 4 for possession of marijuana as well as City of Wharton warrants for failure to maintain financial responsibility, expired registration and failure to display a driver’s license.

Joseph Joe McMillian, 38, of 12526 Sharpview in Houston was arrested by WCSO at 8:46 p.m. Tuesday, June 4 for possession of marijuana. Processed, he posted a $1,500 bond and was released the next day.

Valeriano Patino-Gandarilla, 43, of 404 N. Liberty, No. 3, was arrested by sheriff’s deputies at 1:15 a.m. Wednesday, June 5 for assault family violence with a previous conviction.

Other

Jose Trevino Ramos, 45, of 13124 Hwy. 71 South was booked at 12:30 p.m. Monday, June 3 on a warrant for sex offender’s failure to comply.
