Devin Anthony Garza, 20, of 1307 Business was arrested at 2:40 a.m. Saturday, May 11 on warrants for failure to appear, possession of drug paraphernalia and consumption of alcohol – minor. Processed, he was held 20 hours and released.

Gary Ray Miksik Jr., 26, of 214 CR 395 in Louise was arrested at 2:40 a.m. Saturday, May 11 for driving while intoxicated after being stopped on South Mechanic. Processed, he was transferred to the Wharton County Jail later that morning. Once here, he posted a $2,500 bond and was released the same day.

Brittany Leann Beasley, 30, of 1160 Hwy. 4 West in Corpus Christi was arrested at 2:24 a.m. Sunday, May 12 for driving while intoxicated after being stopped on North Mechanic. Processed, she was transferred to county jail the next day. Once there, she posted a $2,500 bond and was released the same day.

Destiny Kaprice Vasquez, 23, of 1422 Jennie was arrested at 10:40 p.m. Saturday, May 11 on warrants for theft, failure to maintain financial responsibility, failure to appear and expired registration. Processed, she was transferred to county jail the next morning. Once there, she posted $3,500 in bonds and was released the same day.

City Incidents

Property

NC Services, 108 Marion, was burglarized sometime between 8 p.m. Thursday, May 9 and 5 p.m. Friday, May 10. An assortment of vehicle parts were stolen valued at slightly less than $700.

A $600 Troybuilt riding lawnmower was stolen in the 600 Hoskins Broadway between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Friday, May 10.

A burglary was reported at Oakcrest Apartments, 1415 W. Norris, between 9:30 p.m. Friday, May 10 and 2:30 p.m. Saturday, May 11. An assortment of prescription medication was stolen.

A door was kicked in at Vallejo Properties, 1610 S. Mechanic, around 3 p.m. Saturday, May 11 by a person believed to be a vandal.

Violence, weapons

Police are investigating a report of an attempted assault in the Oakcrest Apartment complex, 1415 W. Norris, around 4 p.m. Saturday, May 11. In the case, the victim opened a door to discover a would-be assailant.

Jeramy Jerome Johnson, 36, of 1471 Thrift was booked at 9:13 p.m. Wednesday, May 8 for possession of marijuana, failure to identify and an unspecified Class C misdemeanor.

Darelle Laron Williams, 43, of 3509 Gayle in Victoria was arrested by state troopers at 10:42 a.m. Thursday, May 9 for unlawfully carrying a weapon and possession of marijuana. Processed, he posted $4,000 in bonds and was released the next day.

Larry Lee Krushall, 20, of 4437 FM 1096 in Boling was arrested at 1:16 p.m. Friday, May 10 for possession of marijuana. Processed, he posted a $1,500 bond and was released the next day.

Richard Romeo Lara, 37, of 1806 CR 121 in Boling was arrested by sheriff’s deputies at 1:16 p.m. Friday, May 10 for possession of marijuana and a controlled substance. Processed, he posted $5,000 in bonds and was released the next day.

Tyler Emilio Martinez, 20, 143 CR 107 in Boling was arrested by WCSO at 1:16 p.m. Friday, May 10 for possession of marijuana. Processed, he posted a $1,500 bond and was released the next day.

Matthew Monroe Millard, 28, of 5283 FM 2546 was arrested by sheriff’s deputies at 10:37 a.m. Saturday, May 11 for two counts of possession of a controlled substance as well as single counts of unlawful carrying a weapon, possession of drug paraphernalia and public intoxication. Processed, he posted $15,000 in bonds and was released the next day.

Hervey Ramirez, 27, of 3500 McKinney, Apt. 141, in Baytown was arrested by state troopers at 12:17 a.m. Sunday, May 12 for possession of marijuana, having a drug test falsification device, having a prohibited substance in a correctional facility and possession of a controlled substance.

Jennifer Amalia Tellez, 22, of 5417 Hazel in Baytown was arrested by state troopers at 12:17 a.m. Sunday, May 12 for having a prohibited substance in a correctional facility, possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana. Processed, she posted $11,500 in bonds and was released the same day.

Jodi Lee Garcia, 37, of 814 Merchant was booked at 9:39 p.m. Tuesday, May 7 for theft with two or more previous convictions.

Matthew Rolando Ramirez, 27, of 208 Wallace in Houston was booked at 12:17 a.m. Sunday, May 12 on a Harris County warrant for an accident involving damage to a vehicle.

Renisha Shaunte Thompson, 27, of 513 E. Caney, Apt. B, in Wharton was booked at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 8 for assault causing injury. Processed, she posted a $2,500 bond and was released the next day.

Other

Timothy Ray Edwards, 29, of 708 Dunlap was booked at 8:35 a.m. Thursday, May 9 on a bench warrant and a warrant for engaging in organized criminal activity.

Adam Catete, 43, of 112 W. Fifth was booked at 8:27 p.m. Friday, May 10 for violation of parole.

Jeff Huy Nguyen, 32, of 604 S. Tenth in Seadrift was booked on an out-of-state warrant for parole violation.
