Plea bargain agreements

(Note: All cases below are felonies unless otherwise noted.)

Those pleading guilty and accepting punishment include:

• Kevin Russell Malone, 50, of 1010 CR 243 in Wharton for assault of a public servant. He was sentenced to two years in prison for the March 4, 2018 crime with credit for four days already served.

• Dylan Ty Miller, 22, of 1302 Sixth in Bay City for possession of a controlled substance. He was sentenced to 75 days in county jail for the March 28 crime with credit for the full jail time already served.

• Gloria Sue Munoz, 23, of 235 Duckett in El Campo for credit or debit card abuse. She was placed on three years deferred probation for the July 28, 2018 crime on the grounds she serve 30 days in county jail. The judge also ordered Munoz to pay a $500 fine, perform 160 hours community service, pay $160.80 restitution and take an anti-theft case.

A felony evading case was set aside in exchange for the guilty plea.

With deferred probation, the conviction won’t be held against Munoz if she is able to complete all terms.

• Latasha Nasha Norman, 38, of 3217 Blackshear in Wharton for four counts of obstruction or retaliation, two counts of theft with two or more previous convictions and assault family violence with a previous conviction. She was sentenced to two years in prison for the May 7, 2018 obstructions as well as May 23 and June 6, 2018 thefts and April 13, 2018 assault with credit for 334 days already served.

• Holanda Galeano Reyes, 45, of 3209 Keeland in Houston for unauthorized use of a vehicle. She was placed on three years probation for the Oct. 8, 2018 crime on the grounds she serve 10 days in county jail.

The judge also ordered Reyes to take an anti-theft class, perform 160 hours of community service, pay a $500 fine and write a letter of apology to her victim.

Reyes received credit for the full jail time already served.

• Oscar Daniel Silva, 21, of 212 E. Norris in El Campo for attempted possession of a controlled substance, a Class A misdemeanor. He was placed on nine months deferred probation for the May 7, 2018 crime. The judge also ordered Silva to perform 24 hours community service, pay a $500 fine and take drug offender education classes.

A misdemeanor charge was set aside as part of the plea.

• Katina Lana Simmons, 43, of 806 W. Fifth in El Campo for forgery with an elderly victim. She was placed on two years deferred probation for the Nov. 9, 2018 crime. The judge also ordered Simmons to perform 80 hours community service, take an anti-theft class, write a letter of apology to her victim and pay $788 restitution.

• McKintosh Tudee, 24, of 8800 Gustine Lane, No. 3412, in Houston for having a prohibited weapon. He was placed on four years deferred probation for the March 17, 2018 crime. The judge also ordered Tudee to pay a $1,000 fine, perform 120 hours community service and forfeit the weapon. A misdemeanor possession of marijuana charge was rejected as part of the plea deal.

• Bethany Marie Welch, 21, of 4323 CR 141 in Wharton for two counts of possession of a controlled substance. She was placed on four years deferred probation for the Aug. 24, 2018 and Feb. 2 crimes on the condition she serve 113 days in county jail.

The judge also ordered Welch to perform 240 hours community service, attend a drug offender education course, pay a $2,000 fine and $180 restitution.

Three other charges including a misdemeanor possession of marijuana charge were dismissed.

Revocations

• Derrick Allen, 43, of 502 Bruns in El Campo for unlawful possession of a firearm. His probation for the July 26, 2018 crime was revoked and he was sentenced to four years in prison with credit for 27 days of time served.

• Derrick Durrant Evans, 34, of 3117 E. Alabama in Wharton for two counts of injury to a child. His probation for the Dec. 25 and 26, 2013 crimes was revoked and he was sentenced to three years in prison.

Evans received credit for 353 days already served.

• Raquel Jennaye Hayes, 25, of 404 S. Ford in Wharton for fraudulent delivery of a controlled substance. Her probation for the Nov. 5, 2015 crime was revoked and she was sentenced to three years in prison with credit for 170 days already served.

• Lakeisha Leeann Oakes, 35, of 310 Carolyn in Cuero for possession of a controlled substance. Her probation for the July 5, 2013 crime was revoked and she was sentenced to two years in prison with credit for 64 days.

• Gavin O’Neal Porter, 23, of 4554 Maple in Sealy for possession of a controlled substance. His conviction for the Aug. 18, 2016 crime was adjudicated and he was sentenced to six months in jail with credit for 180 days already served.
